Mykhailo Koval is one of the leading representatives of the industry, vice president of the All-Ukrainian Union for Bookmaking Development. The public organization has been working since 2014, actively promoting the betting business in Ukraine and putting in the effort to make this area a significant branch of the domestic economy.
As an experienced lawyer, he is the head of the legal department of the betting operator Parimatch UA. One of the largest bookmakers in the country leads the market and intends to be one of the first to obtain a license that will allow working in the legal Ukrainian field.
In 2020, Mykhailo Koval took the helm of the legalization of the gambling business in Ukraine. The expert joined the working group that was responsible for the development of the draft law "On State Regulation of Activities on Organizing and Conducting Gambling." He was engaged in the adaptation of tax legislation to new conditions and market participants. Now he is developing by-laws, which will allow the legal gambling market of Ukraine to start working effectively.
He has repeatedly given interviews, participated in thematic webinars, round tables, and discussions. His expert estimations are published in the leading specialized magazines of the country – Login Casino, Ukrinform, Ukranews, Lotmade, GamingPost, and many others.
